Vol. 171 | Featured: Implicit Bias and Racial Disparities in Health Care πŸ‘¨β€βš•οΈπŸ“‰

Published 26 days agoΒ β€’Β 2 min read

Our first topic for Minority Health Month plays a role in the health disparities we see in minority communities: implicit bias in healthcare.

While multiple factors play a role, it's evident that the quality of healthcare people of color receive is a significant factor. Sadly, BIPOC individuals often face inferior healthcare compared to their white counterparts, leading to shorter lifespans and increased morbidity rates.

This week's featured article examines the link between implicit bias and healthcare outcomes, highlighting the urgent need for change in our healthcare systems.

Make it a great week!
